Порядковые числительные

   1. Первые три порядковые числительные образуются особым способом:

one - (the) first - первый

two - (the) second - второй

three - (the) third - третий

     2a) Все остальные порядковые числительные образуются с помощью суффикса -th,который прибавляется           к  количественному числительному:

four - (the) fourth -четвертый

seven - (the) seventh - седьмой

sixteen - (the) sixteenth - шестнадцатый

      b) Есть порядковые числительные,которые имеют особое правописание:

five - (the) fifth - пятый

eight - (the) eighth - восьмой

nine - (the) ninth - девятый

twelve - (the) twelfth - двенадцатый

    3. В порядковых числительных,обозначающих десятки,буква y меняется на ie + th:

twenty - (the) twentieth - двадцатый

ninety - (the) ninetieth
